Microsoft checking alleged sales to Russian firms despite sanctions

WASHINGTON, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Microsoft has been studying possible delivery of its products to the companies that are forbidden for cooperation under the anti-Russian sanctions for several weeks, the U.S. giant said late on Wednesday in a statement following a Reuters report that its software was bought by such firms and state entities.

Microsoft sticks to the law, the company said, adding that the company has a well-adjusted process of signing deals in compliance with the law all over the world, which helps to suspend unauthorized sales to its partners immediately and take urgent measures to restrict access to products for banned clients.
